About The Author

Ben Goodwin has been accused of having a snarky writing style and snarky protagonists. He prefers the term wise-ass and pleads guilty to both charges.

Mr. Goodwin finally wrote his first full length novel almost a year ago and sent it to Baen. He is breathlessly awaiting their rejection form letter. He has much more to say on this subject, but this isn't the place or time. The novel, titled The Precipice of Terror, will be self-released soon in ebook format. Read the afterword if you're interested in why he wrote the novel and submitted it to Baen.

Ben is an IT consultant. He used to be an IT director, but coding's more fun. He now works from home and is a jack of all trades. Cool buzzwords he knows include; Java, Ruby, PL/SQL, DBA work, Oracle, Web Services, SOA, Asterisk, and others.  The company he works for does IT consulting for the Cooperative Energy Industry.

Ben has always been a fan of the english language even though he can't figure out how to use commas. Years ago when the world was young, he took the SATs and scored forty points higher on English than Math. He cried that day, but maybe in retrospect the results were a good thing.
